Court reports

The following cases were recently docketed before Magisterial District Judge Duane Cunningham:

Jeffrey Lee Alleman, 40, 32 Disert Drive, was charged with indecent assault by Pennsylvania State Police. He allegedly touched a minor female inappropriately on two occasions between June 1 and Aug. 31, 2007.

Christopher Scott Straley, 24, 36 W. Dahlgren St., faces a multitude of charges following an incident at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 14. A Pennsylvania State Patrol officer observed Straley allegedly perform a wheelie on a motorcycle on eastbound Route 16 near Hill Road. The officer pursued him. Straley turned right onto Grant Shook Road and traveled at an excessive speed, weaving in and out of the travel lane, police said. The officer lost sight of him.

Later that night state police responded to a disturbance at 11439 Burkett Road, at which point the same officer found Straley hiding behind a carport. Straley was arrested, processed at the Chambersburg barracks and released. He was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, careless driving, reckless driving, operation of a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection, and violations of registration and certificate of title required, required financial responsibility, obedience to traffic-control devices, driving on right side of roadway, driving on roadways laned for traffic, turning movements and required signals, and driving vehicle at a safe speed.
