Police reports Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264- 5161.): Afigure of a black bear holding onto a tree with the word 'welcome' printed on the tree was found at 1081 Shannon Drive at 10 a.m. Nov. 1. Anyone with information should contact state police. A Greencastle woman was charged with theft of services for allegedly putting three trash bags from her residence into the dumpster used by Smoken Joe's in Antrim Township. Karli Elayne Waltz, 20, was charged for the Oct. 31 incident. A 14-year-old juvenile male was arrested for driving under the influence, theft and driving without a license at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 6. Police report that he got drunk after his mother went to bed and then stole the family vehicle. He was traveling north on Brown's Mill Road and left the right side of the road, striking the stone and cement corner pillar of the Brown's Mill Cemetery fence. Four people were arrested for underage drinking at a Halloween party between 6 p.m. Oct. 27 and 6 a.m. Oct. 28. Taken into custody at 861 Buchanan Trail East were Nicholas W. Roberts, Hagerstown, Md.; Brian E. Jones, Greencastle; a 17-year-old male from Hagerstown and a 15-year-old female from Shippensburg. Police said each of them either possessed, consumed or transported alcoholic beverages. |
