Annual turkey dinner
Otterbein United Brethren Church, 146 Leitersburg St., will hold its annual Turkey Dinner complete with pie for dessert from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at the church.
The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for 4 to 10. Under 4 are free.

Dinner and concert
An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner and Praise Team concert will be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 45 N. Washington St.
Dinner will be from 5 to 6 p.m. at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for 6 to 12. Under 6 are free.
The Praise Team concert will run from 6 to 7 p.m.

Christmas Fair
CHAMBERSBURG - The Park Avenue UMC Christmas Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the church across from Wilson College.
Shoppes will include sweets, hand-wovens, crafts, quilts, candles and Christmas items.
Breakfast and lunch will be served.

International Gift Festival
FAIRFIELD - The 47th annual International Gift Festival will be held Nov. 8 to 10 at Fairfield Mennonite Church, 201 W. Main St.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Seniors and handicapped shopping is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6.
The festival features handcrafted items from over 39 countries from around the world. Among the offerings will be jewelry, Christmas decorations and ornaments, wood carvings, tops, linens. oriental rugs, musical instruments, wall hangings and baskets.
There is no admission charge.
All proceeds go to Ten Thousand Villages, an alternative trade organization of the Mennonite Central Committee.

Treasure Sale
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The eight annual Treasure Sale benefiting the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the museum. The sale is a project of the Singer Society, the volunteer organization of the museum.
Items for sale will include furniture, silver, china and glassware.
A preview reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at $10 per person.
Benefit auction and dinner
CHAMBERSBURG - Montessori Academy of Chambersburg will hosts its ninth annual Benefit Auction and Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Fountain Head Country Club in Hagerstown, Maryland. This "black tie optional" event includes a Cocktail Hour, Silent and Live Auctions, an elegant and flavorful dinner, and live music throughout the evening.
Tickets are $100/pp and a table for 8 is $700. Donations for the Silent and Live Auctions are now being accepted. Platinum and Corporate Sponsorships are available as well as advertising opportunities.

Colonial Christmas
SHIPPENSBURG - The 15th Annual Colonial Christmas at Christ Church will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at Christ United Methodist Church, 47 East King St.
The Williamsburg Dinner will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The price for the dinner is adults: $15 and children 6-12 years: $7. Tickets are available at the church office: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.- noon, 532-6850. Tickets are also available at the Shippensburg Chambers of Cumbrance; 22 East King St, East Meets West Emporium and at Crider's Meats; Thursday- Saturday on Olde Scotland Road.

Bazaar
The Greencastle Presbyterian Church will hold its eighth annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at the church, 57 W. Baltimore St.
Lunch items will be for sale for eat in or carry out.
Items on sale include crafts and Christmas decorations and attic treasures.

HARRISBURG - Extra Mile Ministries is accepting used vehicles from throughout central Pennsylvania to support the ministry. Atax receipt will be given to the donor in return.
Free towing is provided. Operable and inoperable vehicles of all kinds are accepted.
