Comedy this weekend features crazy teachers
By PAT FRIDGEN Echo Pilot

Jennifer Gabler, left, and Martha Fuchs on the set of 'Crazy for You', the Greencastle- Antrim High School drama production being performed this weekend. The two are new teachers in the school district and are making their directing debut. Gabler teaches high school English and Fuchs teaches high school vocal music.
Greencastle-Antrim High School will present a farce this weekend at the high school auditorium. 'Who's Crazy Now?', a comedy in three acts by Gerald Bell, features retired teachers in an insane asylum.

The performances are Sat., Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 4 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.

Two teachers new to the district are directing this year. Martha Fuchs and Jennifer Gabler say they chose the play for its humor in an educational environment. They do not believe they or other Greencastle teachers will necessarily go crazy in the future. They add that they love their students. They are confident the fast pace of the show will make the audience laugh.

The cast includes: Sarah Winn, Art Teacher; Ariel Shuhart, Music Teacher; Alesa Lehman, History Teacher; Paige Dixon, English Teacher; Kaila Duty, Gym Teacher; Noel Fridgen, Principal; Alex Ramsey, Superintendent;

Brinna Hoover, Nurse Smith; Stephanie Winn, Nurse Jones; Clinton Monn, Doctor; Sarah Jo Louzon, Miss Ware; and Vedran Okilj, Insane Doctor.

The production staff includes: Ray Hess, Jordan Krebs and Ricky McClain, Sound and Lighting; Jesse Grote, Set Design; Dan Barnett, Set Construction; Courtney Wagner and Alex Whipple, Hair and Make-up; and Katie Boschert, Jacob Foley, Takena Huffman, Craig Hutchinson, Hannah Martin, Katie Pryor, Brad Shingler, Andrew Shriener, Hannah Wylie and Amber Zulauf, Stage Crew/Ticket Sales.
