Grove College again named among nation's best in book

For the second consecutive year, the John L. Grove College of Business is ranked as one of the best business schools in the nation.

The college is included in the 2008 edition of The Princeton Review's annual guide to business schools. The title of the publication is Best 290 Business Schools.

"Grove College has long been known for providing students with the knowledge and analytical skills they need to be a success as well as meeting the needs of employers throughout the region and beyond," said university President William N. Ruud. "This honor from The Princeton Review recognizes the college's quality and its role in the business community."

Dr. Stephen J. Holoviak, dean of the college, said, "We are proud of this honor and how it reflects the mission of the college to provide applied graduate programming to the region. Our MBA is innovative in both its delivery methodologies and curricula. It is unique in its design to accommodate the busy working schedules of our students."

The ranking lists are based on surveys of students conducted during the 2006-07, 2005-06 and 2004-05 academic years. The 80- question survey asks students about their school's academics, student body and campus life, themselves, and their career plans. The Princeton Review does not name a best business school overall or rank the schools in the book. The school profiles in each book cover academics, admission, financial aid, campus life and career information. They also include advice on funding the degrees and applying to the programs.
