Students earn black belts

A number of students of Thompson's Karate Studio in Greencastle recently achieved their Black Belt. The Black Belt Extravaganza was held at the Antrim House Restaurant following the test Saturday, Sept. 22.

The following students earned the honor:

Junior Black Belts - Kyle Hengst, Braden Boward, Mark Straley and Billy Mowen.

Black Belts - Brian Benedict (3rd degree Black Belt), Mark Wise (2nd degree Black Belt), Craig Rodgers (2nd degree Black Belt), Nick Sturm (2nd degree Black Belt), Zeb Blackstock (1st degree Black Belt), Ty Gee (1st degree Black Belt) and Gary George (1st degree Black Belt).
