Tradition continued during the Greencastle-Antrim Apple Festival at Tayamentasachta this year as Charles Lindsay and his Belgians gave wagon rides. Pat Walls' Traditions class make dough for 1464 apple dumplings sold at the Apple Festival Oct.13. Thirty-nine students spent two days making 244 batches of dough. They used 250 pounds of flour and 75 pounds of shortening and other ingredients to make the dough.
