Police reports Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264- 5161.): Geoffrey B. Freeman, 51, was arrested for harassment of Sherry D. Freeman, 52, both of Greencastle. They were traveling in their vehicle on Williamsport Pike near State Line at 6 p.m. Oct. 17. Averbal altercation turned physical when he struck her in the mouth. No one was injured but both vehicles were towed following an accident at 8:25 a.m. Oct. 19. Justin Lester Souders, 25, Chambersburg, was traveling east on Clay Hill Road in a 1988 Jeep Wagoneer. He attempted to make a right turn at the same time that Evette G. Jones, 48, Mont Alto, who was westbound, attempted to make a left turn in her 1998 Volkswagen Beetle. Souders lost control of his vehicle and entered the westbound lane, striking the Volkswagen. James O. Ball, Fayetteville, was arrested for driving under the influence following an accident at 10:03 a.m. Oct. 19. He failed to make a curve on northbound Grindstone Hill Road at McClanahan Road. His 1979 Ford F100 struck the front drivers side of a 1998 GMC Sonoma driven by Douglas E. Statler, Chambersburg, which was westbound on Mc- Clanahan. Neither driver was injured. Their ages were not reported by police. Charles Manahan II, 29, Mont Alto, was charged with harassment for allegedly grabbing Dana Cook, 19, Waynesboro, following a verbal altercation. The incident occurred at 2:52 a.m. Oct. 5 on South Antrim Way. Judy Parks, 13821 Molly Pitcher Highway, Lot 15, reported a burglary between 7 a.m. Sept. 24 and 1:45 p.m. Sept. 25. Someone entered the residence by removing an air conditioner unit. Once inside, the person took Avon jewelry from a jewelry box. |
