Ziobrowski endorsed in commission vote

Bob Ziobrowski is the best qualified candidate for Franklin County Commissioner. I am a Republican who is proud to support Bob, a Democratic candidate.

I first met Bob about 25 years ago in a leadership training class. We have since interacted frequently through work and volunteer organizations. As superintendent of the Tuscarora School District I sought out Bob as president of the Chambersburg School Board for advice on improving board relations. As an adult Sunday School teacher, I asked Bob to teach our class when I traveled. When my wife and I chose to sell our Mercersburg home, I asked Bob, a real estate appraiser, to estimate fair market value. Bob is now chairman of the Chambersburg Hospital Board of Directors; I am vice chairman.

In each and every one of these instances Bob has performed above expectations. He has been professional, competent, courteous and displays good judgment. I have total confidence in Bob's ability to serve well as Franklin County Commissioner.

Cheryl Plummer and Warren Elliott are not running for re-election. It is very important that we elect commissioners to replace them that have experience in leadership and consensus building. In every organization Bob has served, his peers have asked him to lead. Please join me on Nov. 6 and again ask Bob Ziobrowski to lead.
