Local students part of college Homecoming

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University student body crowned its Homecoming king and queen recently during an evening ceremony in the Huntington Union Building that included two local students.
Adam Shoemaker, a notfor profit business major from Sheridan, Ind., was named king while Sara Kessie, an entrepreneurial/ small business major from Columbia City, Ind., was crowned queen.
Senior attendants of the Homecoming court included Antoinette Feldpausch, an economics and finance major from St. Johns, Mich.; Anna Grace Jeter, an English education major from Findlay, Ohio; Rachel Nazarenus, a family and children's ministries major from Noblesville, Ind.; Sean Giggy, a broadcasting major from Andrews, Ind.; Justin Miller, an English education major from Parker, Col.; and Joel Wentz, a music business major from Greencastle.
Representing the freshman class were court attendants Megan Durham, an undecided major from Hannibal, Mo., and Glen Pearson, a theatre performance major from Naperville, Ill. The sophomore class nominated Amber Wolf, a missions major from Atlanta, Ind., and Amos Rawley, a Bible and religion major from Greencastle, as their representatives. Rounding out the homecoming court were juniors Stacie Cheek, a social work major from Franklin, Ind., and Adam Widener, a broadcasting major from New Whiteland, Ind.
