Police reports

Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports:

Todd Cordell, 42, 403 W. Baltimore St., was cited for turning movements following an accident at 8:08 p.m. Sept. 24. Cordell, in a 2002 Toyota pickup, turned left from Antrim Way South onto West Baltimore Street, into the path of Clarence Williams, 34, Chambersburg, who was driving a 2006 Volvo south on Antrim Way.

Karen Brooks, 43, Chambersburg, was attempting a Uturn on West Baltimore Street at Carlisle Street and struck a parked car with her 2007 Yamaha. The 2001 Lincoln Towncar belonged to Lloyd Daugherty, 64 W. Walter Ave.

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264-5161.):

Following a traffic stop on Route 16 at 12:13 a.m. Sept. 25, Terry Ebersole II, 21, Greencastle, was found in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Criminal charges were filed through District Court 39-3-05.

Someone stole electrical wiring from a construction site at 622 and 624 Brookview Drive between 11 a.m. Sept. 21 and 3 p.m. Sept. 24. The victim is Frank Plessinger, Mc- Connellsburg. The wire was 12/2 yellow, and 14/2 white. It was taken from within studded walls.

A 17-year-old Greencastle driver and passenger, both wearing seatbelts, were not injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 4 on Findley Road north of Buchanan Trail West. The driver was southbound and lost control of a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, which left the road and rolled once.

Douglas E. Shoemaker, Greencastle, suffered major injuries in a motorcycle accident at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 30. He was operating a Harley Davidson MC northbound at 7355 Kuhn Road and lost control on a right-hand curve. He left the roadway onto the west side shoulder, then came back and crashed in the southbound lane. He was transported to Washington County Hospital. Shoemaker was not wearing a helmet.

Mick Ardinger was the victim of criminal mischief at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Someone smashed his windshield on Worleytown Road at Huffman Road.

Another criminal mischief incident occurred at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 30 at 11726 Kimberly Drive. Someone damaged a vehicle belonging to Curtis Litten while it was parked in the driveway.
