How to complete the race of life

We all have a goal in life. The race is on. How should we keep it? Well, a friend of ours, Ed Bricker, lived a life as an example to the community and Greencastle.

Bare we come into the world. And bare we go out.

We only take our good works with us. What is our good works; visit the sick, help those in need. Ed was a fireman for 60 years. He kept the trucks ready to go. He was active in the VFW; giving health equipment to those in need. This is how we run the race of life, and he kept the faith of life.

Like Job we are tested every day and if we keep this faith like Job we will graduate to our goal to eternal life. God breathed into man and he became a living soul.

When we die, the breath of life goes back to God and you are with the Lord waiting on judgment day. He will get a new body and be with the Lord forever and we will see our loved ones.

That is the race of life.
