Stottlemyer, Frankenfield selected for senior honor

Diana Stottlemyer and Joshua Frankenfield have been chosen as Greencastle-Antrim High School Students of the Month for September.
The program, conducted during the months of the academic year, is sponsored by the Greencastle Lions and Greencastle- Antrim Lioness clubs. Selection of the students honored is done by faculty members and is based on service to school and community, extra curricular activities, academic standards, discipline and attitude.
The daughter of Barry and Mandy Stottlemyer, Diana is an executive committee member of the National Honor Society; treasurer and member of the Spanish Honor Society; drum major and member of the high school field band; Concert Band, Concert Choir and Chamber Choir member.
She is a Lenfest Scholarship recipient and was the Maryland Symphony Orchestra Student Musician of the Month in March 2007. She was a PMEA District accompanist in her sophomore and junior years and a PMEA District vocalist in her junior year.
Outside of school, Diana is an active member of Common Ground Youth Group and Otterbein United Brethren Church. She also enjoys reading, piano, flute, singing, spending time with family and friends, hiking and canoeing and scrapbooking.
Following graduation she plans to attend a four-year college or university to earn a Bachelors degree in English and then continue to earn a masters degree in Education to become an English educator and possibly a writer someday.
The son of Donald and Sheila Frankenfield, Joshua studies in the college preparatory curriculum at G-AHS. He has been named to the Distinguished Honor Roll and runs on the cross country and track and field teams.
His activities outside of school include Young Life, and a parttime job as a sales associate. Joshua also enjoys running, reading, video games, hanging out with friends, driving, NASCAR and the NFL.
Joshua plans to attend a Pennsylvania college after graduation and major in international business.
