G-A band takes second

HEMPFIELD - Less than a point separated the Greencastle- Antrim High School Field Band from the top spot in the Hempfield Competition Saturday.

Susquehannock nudged the Blue Devil band from a second straight win with a 77.35 score. G-A was second with a 76.8 in the American Conference (Group 2). The other three bands in the division were distant with Eastern York in third with a 71, Conestoga Valley in fourth with a 70.35 and Annville Cleona in fifth with a 68.6.

The next performance of the G-A band will be the Manheim Township Competition at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
