Couple makes vows in Messiah College chapel

Gail Marie Flenner of Mechanicsburg and Matthew Ted Young of Angier, N. C. were united in marriage Jan. 13, 2007 in the Messiah College Chapel.
The bride is the daughter of Stan and Eileen Flenner of State Line, Pa. The groom is the son of Ted and Bonnie Young of Angier.
Rev. Janier Reaver officiated the nuptials. Music was provided by a string trio of Messiah College students. The parents of the bride sang a duet.
Scripture readings during the ceremony were read by Bryon and Mary Brinson of Mechanicsburg. A prayer of blessing was given by Robert and Dottie Crider of Greencastle.
Mrs. Melanie Ott served a matron of honor for her sister.
Bridesmaids were Tabitha Deller of New Cumberland, sister of the groom; Jennie Leatherman of Wolfsville, Md.; Rindy Lamb of Mechanicsburg, Christy Michaels of Ohio and Cari Lescalleet of Chambersburg.
Junior bridesmaids were Taylor and Blake Stuckey of Dillsburg.
The flower girl was Madison Hendges, cousin of the groom and daughter of Chris and Jennifer Hendges of Angier.
Ring bearers were Joshua and Caleb Deller of New Cumberland, nephews of the groom.
Serving as best man for his son was Ted Young.
Groomsmen were Steve Deller, brother-in-law of the groom; Ryan McLean of North Carolina; Chris Hendges of Angier, cousin of the groom; Aaron Hykes of State Line, cousin of the bride; and Brad Lescalleet of Chambersburg.
A reception was held at the Valley Green Golf Course in Etters.
A 2000 graduate of Greencastle Antrim High School and a 2004 graduate of Messiah College, the bride is a kindergarten teacher at East Pennsboro Elementary School in Enola.
A 2000 graduate of Harnett County High School in North Carolina, the groom works for SECCO, Mechanicsburg as a commercial electrician.
Following a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., the couplemakes their home in Mechanicsburg.
