Police reports

Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports:

Janice Lee Cline, 266 N. Carlisle St., was charged with domestic abuse, assault, disorderly conduct and harassment for an incident at 12:05 p.m. Aug. 13. She allegedly punched and slapped James Andrew Reese, Jr. Cline was arrested, charged, and remanded to Franklin County Jail with $2,500 straight bail.

Someone forced entry into Family Dollar Store on South Antrim Way while it was closed and removed a safe. The incident occurred between 7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 7:45 a.m. Aug. 16. The contents of the safe were not disclosed.

A 1998 black and blue Yamaha Blaster and a 1989 red and black Yamaha Warrior were stolen from the front lawn at 412 E. Baltimore St. on Aug. 16. The four-wheel ATVs belonged to Michael Emery and Jason Sease. Both were chained and locked. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 597-9506.

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264-5161.):

A woman entered the Royer Farm Bed and Breakfast, 2775 Buchanan Trail E., at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 24 and used the bathroom. She was then seen going through the drawers of a china cabinet. Owner Judith Lee Criddle-Pellicano told police the woman was not the usual clientele. She was described as having a big frame, long dark shoulder-length hair, and was driving an older faded blue car, possibly a Ford Galaxy.

Someone stole property and caused damage estimated at $525 at the residence of Susan Deardorff, 819 Buchanan Trail E., between 6 p.m. Aug. 25 and 8 a .m Aug 26. The person broke a window in a door to gain entry and stole a DVD player, camcorder, ring and loose change.

Hilda Mary Reck, 70, Lake Ariel, was committed to Franklin County Jail after she was found to be intoxicated at the I-81 Welcome Center at 8:25 p.m. Aug. 18.

Damage was estimated at $300 after two tires on a vehicle belonging to Christopher Lewis were punctured and slashed at 10094 Jasper Drive. The criminal mischief occurred between 8 p.m. Aug. 17 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

Ramona Gonder, 1574A Marsh Road, Waynesboro, was the victim of criminal mischief between 4:30 p.m. Aug. 24 and 6 a.m. Aug. 25. Someone smashed the passenger side window of her vehicle at that location.

A vehicle was possibly damaged by a shotgun round on Worleytown Road at 8:05 a.m. Aug. 24. Jennifer Jo Webster, Greencastle, told police she thought she heard a gunshot in close proximity to her 2006 Honda Ridgeline while she drove toward Williamsport Pike. She later discovered damage to the vehicle.

A mailbox at 9059 Molly Pitcher Highway South was smashed between noon Aug. 24 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 25.

No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:47 a.m. Aug. 22 on the northbound ramp to I-81 at Route 16. Jamie Ulrich, Robesonia, entered the left turn lane from eastbound SR 16 and was motioned by a stopped westbound motorist to enter the ramp. As Ulrich proceeded in a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, Carolyn Waltz, Greencastle, driving a 2005 Mercury Mariner, passed the motorist and struck the Jeep.

A trampoline belonging to Gregory Shupp, 11730 Carol Ave., was cut with a sharp object, causing $300 damage, between 8 p.m. Aug. 21 and 4 p.m. Aug. 23.

Someone punctured five tires at Manito School, 7564 Brown's Mill Road, Aug. 20 or 21.

Buckeas Kenyatta Dawkins, 26, North Carolina, was arrested for public drunkenness at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 26 at Econo Lodge. After arraignment he was placed in Franklin County Jail.

Mary Baughman, no address given, received minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 4:57 p.m. Aug. 18. She was traveling south on I-81 and swerved to avoid a rabbit. Her 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier left the roadway and rolled.
