Sometimes swings are still the best entertainment. Joshua Reed, 3, Greencastle, sails through the air with the help of his uncle, Mike Reed, Baltimore, during the Fun Fair last Friday.
Once again the VFW supplied watermelon for the children at the fun fair.
The balloon belonging to Jacob Foley, 15, has just popped while Craig Hutchinson, 16, is still pumping away. The Greencastle teens joined in the games for all ages at the Fun Fair.
Sara Weber, 8, Jacob and James Schaubroeck, 8 and 10, decorate muslin squares with markers at the Fun Fair. Jan Hirneisen will sew the patches together into a quilt for display at Old Home Week 2010. Marian's Fabrics donated the material.
Face painting was a popular activity.
Don Boward and Scott Slick, Greencastle Exchange Club members, serve ice cream to Lisa Wallech and her daughter Madyson, 3.
Hannah Kline, Ellicott City, Md., rode a pony at the Fun Fair, supervised by Nathalie Dilandro, 17, Smithsburg. Hannah is the five-year-old granddaughter of George and Linda Kline, Greencastle.
