Carl's Drug scene of attempted burglary

Carl's Drug Store, 145 N. Antrim Way, was the scene of an attempted burglary just before 3 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19.

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said a man entered the store through a broken side window and attempte dto remove a one pint bottle of Hydrocodone, which was recovered in the parking lot. Police reported the man fled east on foot. He was wearing a gray hooded seatshirt, red baseball hat, blue nylon type shorts with a royal blue stripe on the bottom and side and high black socks.
