Police Reports

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264-5161.):

State police are developing suspects in a forgery incident that took place over the past several months. Police said someone opened a credit card account using the personal information of Mabel Higgins, 82, of Greencastle, without her knowledge and charged over $11,000 to the account.

A hood assembly and air cleaners were taken off a Peterbuilt truck tractor parked at Antrim Diesel, 47 Commerce Drive, between midnight and 7 a.m. Aug. 10. Also taken was a rear end assembly off the parts lot.

The rear door at Clarissa's School of Performing Arts, Pine Drive, in Antrim Township between Aug. 1 and 14.

Several incidents of criminal mischief in Antrim Township are under investigation by police. Above ground swimming pools at the homes of Richard Bontrager, 39, and Matthew Kelin, 34, in the areas of Prestons Lane and Brenda Drive, were cut with a sharp instrument, spilling all the water out. Trampoline mats at the homes of Scott Vincent Brager, 41, 1712 Shanks Church Road, Brian Shawn Bell, 31, 1751 Brenda Drive, were cut between 6 p.m. Aug. 13 and 6 a.m. Aug. 14.
