Judging limited in OHW parade

With the postponement of the 36th Triennial Old Home Week Parade from Thursday to Saturday, some of the judges could not return to town.

Of the around 100 units entered in the parade, 90 returned Saturday for the postponed event.

The only entries judged Saturday were fire apparatus. Those results are as follows:

Engine-Tanker - 1. Marion Volunteer Fire Company, $100; 2. Mont Alto, $75.

Engine - 1. Marion, $100; 2. Mont Alto, $75; 3. St. Thomas, $50.

Squad-Special Unit - 1. Marion Squad 8, $100; 2. Ultility 5 with Ranger, Mont Alto, $75; 3. Marion Brush 8, $50.

Ambulance - Medic Unit - 1. Marion 8-9, $100; 2. Marion 8-8, $75.

Antique - 1. Waynesboro Ambulance, $100.

Best overall - 1. Marion Volunteer Fire Company, $200.
