Seeds from the Sower When God made the oyster, He guaranteed its security. He built the oyster a house, a shell for protection. When hungry, the oyster just opens his shell and in rushes the food. But when God made man and the maid, He said, "Fill the earth, and subdue it; you are the masters of the fish and birds and all animals." Then He gave man seed-bearing plants and fruit trees, and said, "Farm the ground." And the Living Bible adds, "Work for your living. He who does not work shall not eat." God meant for us to aspire and then to perspire, to hope and then to hop to it. | |||||
