Police Reports Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports: One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:19 a.m. July 14. Gregory Ebersole, 41, 4950 Bullitt Road, pulled right from an unnamed alley onto Route 11 north after being motioned by a person stopped in the right northbound lane. Ebersole, in a 1995 Chevrolet, crossed over to the left northbound lane. Dwain Plessinger, 48, St. Thomas, approaching in that lane in a 2004 Ford truck, did not have time to stop and struck the Chevrolet. A child in Ebersole's vehicle was transported to Waynesboro Hospital. The two drivers and Plessinger's passenger, Elmer Plessinger, 77, Mercersburg, were unharmed. Ebersole was charged with vehicle entering a roadway. Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264- 5161.): Kory Mitchell Divens was charged with scattering rubbish on Grant Shook Road at 9:31 a.m. July 24. The Right Cut Salon, 13662 Molly Pitcher Highway S. was the site of criminal mischief between midnight and 8 a.m. July 31. Someone damaged the front door glass. Three males forcibly entered the Molly Pitcher Mini Mart, 13640 Molly Pitcher Highway at 1:46 a.m. Aug. 2. They took several cartons of cigarettes and were confronted by the owner while still within the store. An altercation occurred and Thomas Philip Candeloro, Jr., 44, Baltimore, was shot with a firearm. The other two fled. Candeloro was taken to Washington County Hospital. He faces charges of robbery, burglary, theft and conspiracy. Jason A. Pecho, 3532 Brook St., was the victim of a burglary between 8 a.m. July 28 and 10 a.m. July 31. Someone entered his residence and damaged several items, including a fish tank, killing 11 goldfish. The person also put flour in the gasoline intake area of a van parked in the driveway. Someone tried to enter the home of Joseph C. Gehring, 3539 Brook St., by prying the screens from the window frames. No entry was gained during the incident, which occurred between 9 p.m. July 30 and 3 p.m. August 3. Between 11 p.m. August 2 and 7 a.m. the next day, someone punctured the tires of a Honda Ridgeline belonging to Jay Sollengerger, on Brook Street off Willowdale Road. |
