World-class concert pianist to appear

Gregor Breier, well-known German concert pianist, will be in concert at Calvary Bible Church, 3845 Buchanan Trail West, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12. He conducted the Braunschweig Symphony Orchestra for five years and was a third generation conductor in the Braunschweig State Opera House where his father and grandfather are very well known to this day. Gregor has college, university, and graduate degrees in music. He has been playing as a concert pianist in his father's and grandfather's orchestras since he was nine years old.

After many years of searching for truth, Gregor received Christ into his life. His life changed dramatically, and he began to tell everyone around him about what Christ had done in his life. In 1985 he began his career as Symphony Orchestra Conductor and continued working as a concert pianist. In 1990 Gregor attended a Word of Life concert in Berlin where he determined that he wanted to use his music abilities as a platform to preach the gospel. It was at that meeting that he approached Word of Life Germany and decided to get a formal Bible college education so that he could more effectively begin to preach and teach the Word of God. He immediately left his position at the opera house, took three years of formal Bible training and joined the Word of Life Germany staff.

Gregor has been the music and stage director of Word of Life Germany's musical-dramas, "The Revelation," "Genesis," and "Daniel," and has conducted over 300 performances over the past 14 years.

Everywhere Gregor ministers, people are overwhelmed at his ability to play the piano. Audiences experience thunder, lightning, earthquakes, and much more in the realm of music, as he ministers and stirs their soul to worship our great and awesome God.

There is no admission fee for the concert. Afree-will offering will be taken. The public is cordially invited to attend this world-class pianist in concert.
