Police reports

Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports:

Kelly Ann Grant, Hagerstown, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a drug, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving following a two-car accident at 2:42 a.m. July 20. Grant, in a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, and another driver were able to move their vehicles to the Rite Aid parking lot. She was arrested and transported to Waynesboro Hospital on suspicion of driving under the influence. She told the officer she was a bartender and probably just smelled like alcohol. Her blood test revealed a BAC of .066 percent and the presence of Zantax. Grant was arraigned before Judge

Rock.

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264-5161.):

Charles A. Eichelberger, Chambersburg, reported that his vehicle was broken into and his wallet stolen from the center console at Greencastle Greens Golf Course. The theft occurred between 4 and 6:30 p.m. July 24.

Daniel J. Carty, Mercersburg, lost control of a 1996 Toyota truck at 9 p.m. July 24, and left the road at 5037 Bino Road. He went through a fence before coming to rest in a field. He fled the scene and was located later at the Greencastle Police Department. He was arrested for driving under the influence and will be cited for multiple summary offenses.

Two tires on a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix belonging to Howard Kozain, 9102 Willowdale Road, were punctured between 7 p.m. July 20 and 5:30 p.m. July 21.

An ice machine outside Molly Pitcher Mini Mart, 13640 Molly Pitcher Highway, was damaged when someone pried off the lock and stole 20 bags of ice. The incident occurred between 4:50 p.m. July 22 and 4:30 a.m. July 23.

Brett Reese, Mercersburg, was charged with harassment following an incident at 6:28 p.m. July 23. He allegedly became upset when Jason B. Caudill, Greencastle, approached him at 1209 Mason Dixon Road about money Reese owed him. Reese then shoved and punched Caudill on the head.

Dorothy M. Deibert, 44, Waynesboro, was arrested for driving under the influence following an accident at 6:30 p.m. July 22. Driving a 2007 Honda RIA, she crashed into a culvert and tore out a row of fencing before becoming stuck in a field at 14471 Hollowell Church Road.

Charles L. Reeder was the victim of criminal mischief when someone damaged his 2005 Dodge Ram pickup at 212 Hykes Road. The person scuffed the truck and dented the lid to the gasoline intake area between 9:30 p.m. July 21 and 4 a.m. July 22.

Sondra Weaver, Willow Hill, reported that someone threw eggs at her vehicle at 8958 Browns Mill Road between 11:45 p.m. July 20 and 2 a.m. the next day.

Athree-vehicle collision with injuries occurred at 4:46 a.m. July 30 at Mile Marker 2 of I-81. Christopher L. Greenwood, 35, Chambersburg, traveling southbound in a 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette, struck the rear of a 2002 Ford van operated by Donald Wayne Wilson, 62, Keedysville, Md. The Ford crossed the median, became airborne and landed in the northbound lane where it struck a 2004 Chevrolet Express van driven by Charles E. Cohn, 76, Austell, Ga. The Ford continued onto the embankment while the Chevrolet became airborne, spun clockwise and rolled, ending up on its wheels facing south on the northbound embankment.

Greenwood, Cohn and passenger Margaret Cohn, 89, were transported to Washington County Hospital with unknown injuries. All of the people involved were wearing seatbelts.

Gayle Stephens, 54, was charged with harassment following a domestic dispute with Clyde Stephens, 52, at 11:54 p.m. July 26 at 10097 Jasper Drive.

Francisco Fernandez-Palazios, 43, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at 15260 Wedgewood Drive after police were called to his residence for a disturbance at 11:55 p.m. July 27.
