Before she was two years old, an illness destroyed her sight and hearing. Helen Keller was thus unable to learn to speak.

But she overcame blindness and deafness by learning to read and write in Braille. Then she learned to talk.

One night she was asked, "If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?"

Hearing? Sight? Eloquence?

She answered, "World peace."

We have many peace breakers, but few peace makers. But the Bible says, Blessed are the peace makers,"

Oh, that we all might receive the Prince of Peace. When we're at peace with God, we'll be at peace with self and man.
