      The Cubs defeated the Tigers in a 19-18 slugfest in extra innings to capture the Greencastle-Antrim Little League baseball Minor League Division Championship. The Cubs won the best of three series two games to none.

      CARY, N. C. - The Mason Dixon Blaze Red went undefeated in pool play on Saturday and Sunday to earn the top seed heading into double elimination play at PONY Nationals. The Blaze opened pool play with a 3-0 shutout of the Hudson Valley Hurricanes (New York).

      Daniel Stepler, 12, of Greencastle has been selected to play for the Susquehanna River Raiders. This team will represent the Central Pennsylvania Region at the Field of Dreams National Invitational Tournament in Cooperstown, N.Y., home of the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame.
