ABWA presents scholarships The Conococheague Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association presented scholarships in the amount of $700 to the following four local college students: Cayla Amsley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Amsley, is enrolled at Penn State-Mont Alto with emphasis on early childhood development and law. She is a 2006 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She is employed this summer at Sheetz in Greencastle and Cracker Barrel in Chambersburg. Leslie Plasterer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeErin Plasterer. She is enrolled in the nursing program at Hagerstown Community College. She is a graduate of Greencastle Antrim High School. She is employed by Kline's Grocery in Shady Grove. Brent McNulty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Clites, will be enrolled at California University of Pennsylvania. He is studying athletic training. He is a 2006 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and is employed this summer at Fab Tech Industries. Kyle Kulpak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kulpak, is also attending California University of Pennsylvania. His program of emphasis is Computer Technologies of FCCTC. Kyle is a 2005 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and is employed through the summer by Fab Tech Industries. The American Business Women's Chapter has presented over $80,000 in scholarships to local students of the Greencastle, Mercersburg and Waynesboro areas over the years since organizing in 1977. |
