E.L.M. Shoes back on the road again

E.L.M. Shoes, Inc., Greencastle, has recently expanded their business to include a Mobile Shoe Store.

E.L.M. Shoes, Inc., Greencastle, has recently expanded their business to include a Mobile Shoe Store. This store is mounted on a 24-foot straight truck that can carry over one thousand pair of shoes and has a climate controlled show room area. E.L.M. Shoes, Mobile Shoe Store will service industries in the region with safety toe footwear for their employees. This service is attractive to industries because it allows their employees the convenience of selecting their required footwear at their work location as well as benefiting by combining the buying power of their entire staff.

E.L.M. Shoes has partnered with Red Wing Brands of America and carries; Red Wing, Worx and Carhartt footwear brands on their Mobile Shoe Store. Michael Carey is the Mobile Sales manager, and Zane Steward is the Mobile Operations manager. Together they will sell and service companies in a seven county region in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia.

What gives this expansion an interesting twist is E.L.M.'s heritage. E.L.M. starting in the 1930's as a "Store on Wheels" carrying goods and services to the customer. Although E.L.M. Shoes has never strayed from a commitment to customer service they will again be pursuing the goal to deliver footwear to the customer "on wheels."
