Use common sense and safety on roads

Most if not all students have been dismissed for their summer vacation. Please remember to be on your guard, and as a driver of a motor vehicle, follow these strict rules of common sense and safety!!

A. Drive cautiously and give the children a "Brake," and a "Break."

B. Be observant of sudden movement of children between parked cars, while riding bicycles on streets.

C. Slow down when light is on caution. Always stop when light is red and never proceed till light turns green again.

D. Cell phones! Never pick up a cell phone while driving to talk for this is a gross distraction when you must be giving all your attention focused upon your driving. The life you save may be your own.

D. Never think you are in such a hurry to reach your destination - did you ever stop to think you could start 30 minutes earlier, and still be at your destination on time?
