Police reports

Greencastle Borough Police recently released the following incident reports:

Allison Iola Pastore, 49, Greencastle, was charged with driving under the influence after police observed her allegedly commit several traffic violations in a Ford SW at 2:15 a.m. June 3 at 215 W. Baltimore St. She was pulled over on west Route 16. The officer arrested her and transported her to Waynesboro Hospital, where her low BAC was .122 percent. She was released at Greencastle Police Department to the custody of a friend.

Frederick Montgomery Hepfer, 24, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic dispute at 11:55 p.m. June 6. Police arrived at 11 N. Carlisle St., Apt. 302, and Tia Nicole Overcash reported that Hepfer was intoxicated, had pushed her to the ground and struck her temple with his fist. The officer noted a red mark and cut in that location. Hepfer was arrested.

A Connecticut man was arrested for public drunkenness and charged with providing unsworn falsification to authorities on June 1. Kevin M. Lapointe, 36, of Colchester was taken into custody at 11:50 p.m. at 60 N. Washington St. He presented false personal identification. He was remanded to Franklin County Jail by Judge Hawbaker. On June 2 Lapointe's boss verified his identity. Greencastle police brought him before Judge Cunningham for arraignment.

Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg recently issued the following news releases (Information on any of the cases should be called to police at 264-5161.):

An Antrim Township business has been the victim of theft twice in the past three weeks. Sometime between 6 p.m. May 23 and 10 a.m. the next day, a number of items were stolen from Country Shadows and Gifts, 1394 Buchanan Trail West. Missing from the front of the business were two country wooden wheels, a country resin wheel, four wooden barrels with lids, a dog resin statue, a bear resin statue, a decorative angel with the sign 'County Shadows', a blue country wooden sign with white letters 'Welcome' and a burgundy country sign with white letters. Police reported the same business had three wooden rocking chairs taken from the front of the business between June 8 and 11.

A 16-year-old male from Chambersburg and a 15-yearold female from Shippensburg were involved in a physical altercation following a verbal argument at 11:20 a.m. June 4 at Manito School, 7564 Brown's Mill Road. Charges were filed against both.

The driver of a gray Chevy Silverado truck pumped $32.27 worth of fuel and drove off from BP Gas Station on John Wayne Avenue at 5:40 p.m. June 4.
