Jeffrey L. Daley
Jeffrey L. Daley, 44, of 5434 Kennedy Ave., Williamson, died at 12:01 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2007 at his home. He had been in failing health for the last year and critically ill for the last two months.
Born Dec. 11, 1962 in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Richard and Betty (Wolfe) Daley of Greencastle.
Mr. Daley graduated from James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, with the Class of 1980.
He and his wife, Tamara S. (Oberholzer) Daley, were married on July 24, 1982 in Mercersburg and moved to their current residence.
Mr. Daley was employed as a superintendent by Bonded Applicators, Waynesboro, for 24 years before retiring due to his illness.
He was a member of Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, Maugansville, Md., Harry Lackhove American Legion Post 517, Mercersburg, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1790, Mercersburg.
Mr. Daley enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Jason M. Daley of Williamson; two sisters, Juanita Barto and her husband Bill, of Lemasters, and Pamela Ash and her husband, Alfred of Ft. Loudon; two brothers, Richard Daley of Greencastle and Jerry Daley of Freeland, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 3 in Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, 17904 Binkley Ave., Maugansville, with Pastor Dick Heckman officiating.
Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Lemasters.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. on Wednesday in Miller- Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington Street, Greencastle and for one hour prior to the service Thursday in the Church.
