A day on the farm

These Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School fourth-graders were excited to see newborn twins at the Franklin County Ag Institute last week.
This calf, one of twin heifers born Friday, was a popular attraction for the fourthgraders and the record 3,000 people who visited the 16th annual Franklin Fall Farm Fun Fest.
G-AES fourth-graders from Mr. Root's class learned about cow housing at the Ag Institute.
Brian Kirkpatrick of Greencastle, who works for Franklin Feeds was a presenter at the Franklin County Farm Bureau Ag Institute for Fourth-Graders last week. Here he talked about cow nutrition with students from Greencastle Antrim Elementary School.
Dr. Alan Oliver of Greencastle Veterinary Hospital talked to G-AES fourthgraders about bovine medicine.
