Greenhouse Greens program set Sept. 21 Ever wondered what micro greens are? Are you interested in growing micro greens? Do you have a greenhouse and are looking for new ideas? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then consider attending Grow Your Profits with Greenhouse Greens on Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Cumberland County Cooperative Extension Office from 7 to 9 p.m. The session will include an introduction to greens as a business opportunity, review the market potential, and Tom Childs from Twin Springs Fruit Farm and Pat Brubeck from Creekside Nursery will share their experiences with the group. The cost of the program is $20 per person and includes all materials, including a snack. Space is limited; pre-registration is required by Sept. 15. Penn State programs are open to all persons regardless of age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religious creed, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
