National Honor Roll selectees noted

Brittany Ditlow, Mary Hall, Joshua Lynch, and Gwendalynn Toy, all of Greencastle, have been inducted to the 2005-2006 National Honor Roll. The National Honor roll recognizes high-achieving high school and middle school students.

Mary E. Hall graduated from Greencastle-Antrim High School this June. She is a member of the Foreign Language Honor Society; National Honor Society; Student Council, Who's Who Among American High School Students and Peer Leaders. Mary participates in band, swimming and track and is on the YMCA National Swim Team. Her goal is to attend either College of William and Mary or Gettysburg College to become an obstetrician.

Gwendalynn N. Toy is a rising junior at Greencastle-Antrim High School. She was named to High Honor Roll and received awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and perfect attendance. She is a Presidential Scholar, peer tutor and teachers' aide. She participates in church youth group, basketball field hockey and student council. Her interests are in criminology; and education and she would like to attend North Carolina State University or University of Connecticut.

Joshua M. Lynch is a rising senior at St. Maria Goretti High School in Hagerstown, Md. He achieved high honor roll, perfect attendance and U.S. Achievement Academy. He is on debate team and plays basketball. He won the Spanish Award and hopes to attend Georgetown University.

Brittany Ditlow is a senior at South Hagerstown High School. She is on the Honor Roll, participates in the Youth Leadership Program, D.A.R.E. and 4-H; and is a community volunteer. She enjoys photography and soccer. She served as Class Representative. Her future goal is to attend HCC or Maryland and to become an LPN and then an RN.
