Reading with the animals
Playing the part of the theme, "Paws, claws, scales and tails," here are just a handful of the "animals" who took part in the closing program for the Lilian S. Besore Library summer reading program Friday. Of the 164 children who participated in the program, 42 readers met the goal of reading 1,200 pages or 75 books, according to childrens' librarian Sharon Zaretskie. About 90 children and adults attended the ending program.
