Dorothy May Rogers Campbell, 84, of White Oak, Ga., died Sunday April 18, 2010 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga.
A native of Hamilton, Ohio, she was born Dec. 31, 1925 to the late Lyman Rogers and the late Phillipina Klapper Rogers. She had been a resident of Greencastle for 18 years, and had been living with her daughter in White Oak for a short period of time.
She graduated in 1943 from high hchool in Monroe, Ohio. After graduating from high school she was employed by the Ohio School Systems in the cafeteria as a cook for several years. She also furthered her education and career, and became a devoted nurse's aide for many years for several nursing homes.
On July 10, 1951, she married Rev. Kenneth H. Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was devoted to her family and served faithfully in various churches; teaching Sunday school, vacation bible school, and also serving as a deacon, as well as many other church activities. She was a long time member of the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by sons, David H. Campbell and daughter-in-law April Campbell of Finksburg, Md. and  J. Scott Campbell of Ithaca, N.Y.; daughters, Theresa A. Edwards and son-in-law Ben D. Edwards, Jr. of White Oak and Bonnie Jo Campbell of Grayville; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Mae Campbell; and two brothers, Paul and Leonard Rogers.
 A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 1 at the Greencastle Presbyterian Church, Greencastle, with Pastor Taylor Camerer officiating.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Greencastle Presbyterian Church Organ Fund at 57 West Baltimore St., Greencastle, PA 17225-1407.
Arrangements were handled by Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in Brunswick, Ga.
